Technological advances and clinical research over the past few decades have provided means for accurate delivery of radiation dose based on clinical, biological, anatomical, and pathological information. Genomics, NGS, big data, imaging, immunotherapy and charged particles are tools at our disposal with which we aim to improve survival and reduce side effects of cancer patients on an individual basis. Eradicate tumors with preservation of quality of life now can be achieved in clinical setting. We will continue pursue technology-driven improvement of treatment conformity, including advanced image guidance and particle therapy, and novel biological intervention for personalized treatment, including biomarker-guided stratification of treatment, combined treatment including immune modulation before or after radiotherapy, and adaptive therapy during its course.
